Overview:
The 10days safari starts with Amboseli National Park, it is famous for its huge herds of elephant
and the view of Mt. Kilimanjaro which is the tallest Mountain in Africa and the biggest majestic
standing mountain in the world best viewed from Amboseli. Wildlife and birds to be seen here
includes, Maasai giraffe, hyenas, lions fringe eared Oryx and over 400 species of birds.

Park, Lake Naivasha, Maasai Mara Game Reserve.

superior hotels. If a hotel of equivalent standard is not available Kubwa Five Safaris may
substitute the next best quality hotel or suggest a superior at an extra charge. There is free
wi-fi in hotels.
Transportation – 4×4 Safari Landcruiser / Minivan (up to eight passengers) with pop-up
tops and seven window seats for game viewing. Groups of twelve or more people who
would like to travel in one vehicle are offered 25-28 seat coasters that have about 16
window seats. Our Safari vehicles are well maintained to provide maximum level of
comfort and safety.
Our Drivers /Guides – We recognize this for a fact! The success of your safari will
largely depend on your driver/guide. It is because of this that we have a great team of
carefully selected drivers /guides, well trained.
You will be picked Kubwa Five Safaris representative at 8.00 am from the hotel and depart for Amboseli National Park to arrive in time for lunch. At 4 o’clock depart for the evening game drive and exploration of this national park which is famous for its huge herds of elephants

Dinner and overnight at AA Lodge Amboseli:
Depart at 5.45 am with picnic breakfast for an early morning game drive, this is the best time to
see the highest white-capped peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro (Kibo). Come back in good time for lunch. Spend the afternoon at leisure and thereafter depart for an evening game drive.
Set in 200 acres of private land, and with a rustic charm all of its own, the lodge nestles in the
foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro which, at almost six thousand meters, is Africa’s highest and
most famous snowcapped mountain. It was this region of Kenya that, in the 1930s, inspired
Ernes t Hemingway’s unforgettable stories ‘The Snows of Kilimanjaro’ and ‘The Short, Happy
Life of Francis Macomber’ which were turned into more than successful feature films in the late
1940’s due to their renowned actors. All forms of wildlife still abound in this wilderness which
continues all the way to the Amboseli National Park, an easy twenty-minute drive away from the
lodge.
Dinner and overnight at AA Lodge Amboseli:
After breakfast, proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park which is regarded by avid birders’ as the
greatest World ornithological spectacle on the Earth. Arrive in good time for lunch. Afternoon
game drive will welcome and introduce you well to this park. The park is famous for its millions of pink flamingoes lining the lakeshore. It is the
Sanctuary to the Black Rhino, White Rhino, and the Rothschild Giraffe. Here we will have the
chance to look out at some of the common species like the lesser and Greater Flamingoes,
African fish Eagle, Tawny Eagle, Green Wood Hoopoes, Cliff Chat, Great White and Pink
Backed Pelicans plus other intra- African Migrants.
Dinner & Overnight – The Lanet MatFam Resort
Soon after breakfast you will depart for Kenya popularly known as Samburu to arrive in time for
lunch, Engage in an evening game drive. Do optional activities such as Samburu dances in the
evening, cocktails, and sundowners.
These 3 reserves (Buffalo Springs, Shaba, and Samburu) were helped put up by the Adamsons
family; they are famous for rare species of animals only found in this semi-arid region. These are reticulated giraffe, Grevy zebra, gerenuk, Beisa Oryx, and blue-necked Somali ostrich amongst
others.
Dinner & Overnight – Samburu Sopa Lodge (FB),
Samburu Sopa Lodge is located inside the Samburu National Reserve in Northern Kenya,
Samburu Sopa lodge is built atop high ground allowing panoramic views of the vastness of
Samburu shrub land and the hills beyond. The lodge is built to reflect the architectural heritage
of the local communities whose sons and daughters make up the majority of the workforce at the lodge. Fifteen cottages, each with two bedrooms are built in an arch formation on either side of the public areas to surround the waterhole but leaving a wide gap to allow the animals’ free
movement to the water.
After breakfast, proceed for a full day game drive chancing to see what you might not have seen
the previous days. Take the morning and evening game drives and spend mid-day at the swimming pool. Enjoy optional activities such as visiting the Samburu villages and interacting with the Samburu communities, bird watching, and guide nature walks in the evening (payable direct).
Dinner & Overnight – Samburu Sopa Lodge (FB)
Early morning drive, take your breakfast, and commence to Lake Naivasha. Arriving at Lake
Naivasha by midmorning for a bird walk before lunchtime. Lake Naivasha being a freshwater
lake on the Rift floor is home to an incredible variety of species. Over 450 species have been
recorded here. An afternoon option of either a boat ride or a visit to Hell's Gate National Park before returning for dinner and overnight stay at Naivasha Sopa
Dinner and Overnight stay at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort / Taphe Guest Resort:
Pick up from the hotel in the morning drive to Maasai Mara national park. Maasai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourist destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserves of the western escarpment. It is regarded as the jewel of Kenya's wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest's migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Hardly can a visitor miss to spot the big five. The phenomenal wildebeest migration is a spectacular event only seen in Maasai Mara is the wonder of the world.
Dinner and overnight at AA Lodge Mara
Spend the full day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the Big Five. You will have a picnic
lunches in the Reserve as you scale the Mara beauty sited at the banks of Mara river.
In the evening, Visit the local Maasai village for a Maasai cultural tour. Learn about the Maasai
community and interact with the local Maasai people. Overnight at the Maasai village can be
organized upon request.
Optional: A balloon safari at USD 380 per person can be organized early morning on this day
then proceed with the normal program. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event
of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following
on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures.
Dinner and overnight at AA Lodge Mara
Rest at your lodge, then after lunch visits the local Maasai village for a Maasai cultural tour.
Learn about the Maasai community and interact with the local Maasai people. Overnight at the
Maasai village can be organized upon request.
