Overview

Introduction

memorable. Okavango Delta is one of the seven wonders of the world in
Botswana, has different plant and wild animal species therefore one will get an
opportunity to see the big five animals found in the destination. Our trips also
cover Chobe National park which is known for its concentration of elephants.

Highlights

  • For groups of more than 4 people a supply vehicle with 2 staff members will set up camp ahead of your clients. For 4 or less people 2 staff members will travel on the same vehicle and all equipment will be loaded in a trailer and on a roof rack. Luggage must be restricted to 15kg per person in soft bags.
  • Accommodation: Walk-in 3m x 3m tents with fully made, comfortable bedrolls on stretchers.
  • Bedside table with solar powered lantern. Shared toilet tent and shower tent. Towel supplied.
  • Children of 3 years to 12 years inclusive are charged 75% price if the minimum number of people has been reached excluding them. Rates based on minimum 3 people, add 40% for 2 people.

Day 1 Maun-Okavango Delta

Wake up early morning and have breakfast and your guide will pick you up from your lodge and brief you about the trip. Transfer by motorboat during high water season or 4X4 transfer during low water season to Mokoro Station where you will
be met by a Professional Guide and a Polar, a short briefing about your trip will be conducted before boarding your Mokoro and travel along the channels of the Okavango Delta to camp on one of the many Islands of the Delta, before reaching
your camping destination, you would have spent some hours seeing the beauty and vastness of the Delta.Upon arrival, the staff will set up the camp, and then direct you to your camping
tents. After a short while, you will have lunch and then go for a siesta. After siesta, you can have a tea and resume your afternoon game walk in the park. Return back to the camp after your afternoon game walk, enjoy afresh shower, and then dinner will be served. The time for bed will be determined by the last guest.

Day 2 Okavango Delta

Wake up early morning, have a quick shower, and have breakfast then resume early morning game walk within the park. Come back to the camp. After a short while you will have lunch and then go for a siesta. After siesta, you can have a tea
and resume your afternoon sunset cruise on a Mokoro (dug-out manmade canoe) as you float through the maze of channels in search of wildlife like elephants, buffalo, crocodiles, hippos, and bird species. You will be accompanied by a knowledgeable polar/guide who will help spot animals and tell you about the complex ecosystem of this beautiful area. Return back to the camp after your afternoon sunset cruise, enjoy a fresh shower, and then dinner will be served.

Day 3 Okavango Delta-Khwai Concession

Wake up early morning, have a quick shower, and have breakfast then go for a short game walk within the park while the staff breaks down the camp before coming back to Mokoro Station, to continue your safari to Khwai Concession. Upon arrival, the staff will set up the camp, and then direct you to your camping tents. After a short while, you will have lunch and then go for a siesta. After siesta, you can have tea and resume your afternoon game drive within the park. Drive back to the camp after your afternoon game drive, enjoy afresh shower, and then dinner will be served. The time for bed will be determined by the last guest.

Day 4 Khwai Concession-Savuti Channel

Wake up early morning have a quick shower and have breakfast while the staff breaks down the camp, immediately after breakfast you venture through Khwai to Savuti channel as one of the famous for its abundance of large predators and
visit Savuti Marsh. Upon arrival, the staff will set up the camp, and then direct you to your camping tents. After a short while, you will have lunch and then go for a siesta. After siesta, you can have tea and resume your afternoon game drive
within the park. Drive back to the camp after your afternoon game drive, enjoy afresh shower, and then dinner will be served. The time for bed will be
determined by the last guest.

Day 5 Savuti Channel

Wake up early morning, have a quick shower, and have breakfast then resume your game drive within the park. Come back to the camp. After a short while you will have lunch and then go for a siesta. After siesta, you can have tea and
resume your afternoon game drive within the park. Drive back to the camp after your afternoon game drive, enjoy a fresh shower, and then dinner will be served.

Day 6 Savuti-Chobe River front

We will be traveling to the Chobe River Front after having our early morning breakfast. The drive will be about 142kms to the BOGA campsite going through the Park and 30kms of the sealed road where you will see a few villages. (4hrs 30min).
Picnic lunch will be served on the way, Upon arrival, the staff will set up the camp, and then direct you to your camping tents. After siesta, you can have tea and resume your short game drive within the park. Drive back to the camp after your
afternoon game drive, enjoy afresh shower, and then dinner will be served. The time for bed will be determined by the last guest.

Day 7 Chobe River Front

The morning after breakfast you board on a game viewer vehicle for morning games drives on day 7 along the Chobe waterfront finishing off with a 3 hours Boat cruise on the Chobe River. The safari ends after the Boat cruise.

Included/Excluded

  • Meals: Early breakfast- Cereals, rusks tea, and coffee. Brunch- Eggs, bacon, beans, fried tomato, sausage (or vegan sausage), and toast. Light afternoon lunch- Cold

  • Dinner- 2 courses, either soup and a main or a main and dessert.
