This is a Botswana ‘BUCKET LIST’ Tour
As a sign of gratitude, the reserve is named after Batswana tribe members, Chief Moremi III and his wife. This unique ecosystem, characteristic of the Okavango Delta, allows for a diverse spectrum of wild life and coupled with effective protective measures results in huge herds of impala and tsessebe and in the dry season large herds of buffalo, wildebeest, elephant and zebra come into the reserve from the dry Kalahari Desert in search of both food and water. The sitatunga and lechwe live in the papyrus banks of the waterways with lions, cheetahs and packs of wild dogs hunting in the open grassland. The Moremi Game Reserve is home to over 400 of the Okavango’s species of birds, including the African fish eagle, crested crane and sacred ibis. This vast array of mammal, bird, insect, plant, fish and reptile species have adapted to the Okavango Delta’s swamp conditions. (Minimum 2 x Adults per tour reservation)
This 9 Day Safari Starts in Maun (Botswana) 2pm, and conclude in Kasane (Botswana) 9am.

Day 1-2 (Minimum 2 x Adults per tour reservation) Sitatunga Day 1: Safari Tented Tour guests will be picked up from Maun International Airport or from their accommodation in Maun (Pickup Time: 2pm). We spend the rest of the evening at Sitatunga Campsite around a campfire getting to know each other and to discuss the tour for the next couple days. Day 2: After breakfast we have the opportunity to participate in the many extra optional day activities that is offered around Maun. Your tour leader will provide all the relevant information and make the necessary arrangements. (Please note: all extra activities are for your own cost, prices may change without notice) Or we set out to South Gate and spend the whole day scouting for game in the Western part of the park (Included). Accommodation: Tented or Tented/Chalet Meals: Day 1: Dinner only, Day 2: Breakfast/Dinner Day 3-4 Kwai After a good breakfast we pack up and leave for Kwai. We will spend the next two days travelling through untamed wilderness areas and camping wild. Here we will spend two days game viewing and enjoying the wildlife. Accommodation: Tented only, no Chalet available Meals: Breakfast/Dinner Day 5-6 Savuti After coffee & rusks morning tradition, we pack up and head towards Savuti. Known as one of the best game viewing areas, our focus will be on daily drives through the Savuti Marsh area Accommodation: Tented only, no Chalet available Meals: Breakfast/Dinner Day 7-8 Chobe/Kasane Known as the Elephant Capital of Africa, Chobe National Park is the home of the gentle giants. We stay for two nights near Kasane. Day 8: We travel to Vic Falls and spend the whole day at the falls. (Here is also many extra optional activities to participate in. Your tour leader will provide all the relevant information and make the necessary arrangements. (Please note: all extra activities are for your own cost). Accommodation: Tented or Tented/Chalet Meals: Breakfast/Dinner Day 9 Kasane After a lavish breakfast, our guests will be taken to Kasane International Airport or any accommodation in Kasane of your choice.
