8 DAYS GREAT WILDEBEEST MIGRATION RIVER CROSSING with Kilipeak Adventure a fantastic opportunity for visiting The wildebeest migration river crossing beginning July moves north and passes through the Lobo area en-route to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve. In September, the wildebeest herds are spread out over the northern Serengeti National Park and Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve. Several large herds of wildebeest remain behind in the area and weather changes may sometimes bring the herds back into the area from the Mara. In October, the herds move south towards the central Serengeti National Park via the Lobo area of the Serengeti National Park.
Visit the unique Ngorongoro crater known as Africa’s Eden and famous for big cat and Predators, Lake Manyara National Park which lies on the floor of Great Rift Valley famous for Its tree climbing Lion, for those have short time will be the best short safari for their lifetime.

Day 1: Arrive in Tanzania.

Arrive anytime at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), there will be a private transfer from the Airport to Arusha at Maasailand Safari Lodge, immediately after check-in, you will meet with our Safari professional guide who will give you a briefing about the whole safari Dinner and overnight at Maasailand Safari Lodge: Half board

DAY 2: Game Drive to Lake Manyara National Park

After your breakfast, your safari starts by driving to lush and beautiful Manyara National Park for game viewing. In at afternoon time takes you for lunch in the park picnic area. Dinner and overnight at Eileen’s Tree Inn Lodge: Full board.

DAY 3: Game Drive to Serengeti National Park. (Central))

Morning breakfast at your hotel followed by an en-route game drive to Serengeti Plains via Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After a picnic lunch proceeds with your game drive in the central Serengeti national park around Seronera or trace the direction of the migration. Dinner and overnight at Tanzania Bush Camp: Full board.

Day 4: Full Day Game to Serengeti National Park. (Kogatende)

We will proceed for a full day game drive viewing the great migration at the Mara area. Resident wildlife numbers are exceptionally high in the Wagakuria area. The key feature is the Mara River and there is a great chance to see the herds cross the Mara River to the north on one day and back south a few days later. Please note that it can be very difficult to witness crossing and is sometimes a matter of luck. A herd can be seen next to the river and only decide to cross a couple of days later. This area is a stunning region with kopjes, woodland, riverine vegetation, and open plains, similar to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve. Dinner and overnight at Mara River Tented Camp: Full board.

Day 5: Another Day to Serengeti National Park.(North Mara))

After breakfast, we will drive to Serengeti north viewing the great migration at the Mara area. The key feature is the Mara River and it is not uncommon to see the herds cross the Mara River north on one day and then back south a few days later. Please take note that finding a crossing is very challenging and is sometimes a matter of luck. There are instances where herds can be seen next to the river but then only decides to cross a couple of days later. This area is a stunning region with kopjes, woodland, riverine vegetation, and open plains, similar to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game reserve Dinner and overnight at Mara River Tented Camp: Full board.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

An early morning game drive in the Serengeti followed by picnic lunch on the way to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will stop at Olduvai Gorge, the site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains. Dinner and overnight at Rhino Lodge: Full board.

Day 7: Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater.

Today we will descend 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater for your crater tour. Here you will explore the forest areas inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where we may see flamingos. We will also visit the open savannah where the lions hunt. Picnic lunch will be served in the crater later afternoon drive back to Arusha. Dinner and overnight at Maasailand Safari Lodge: Full board.

Day 8: Arusha Town to the Airport.

We will arrange a private transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) after your safari.
