Safari destinations:
{Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Parks}
The Safari will be based in the Northern Tanzania Tourism circuit where all the destinations have their unique features.The tour will begin with Tarangire as nicknamed the Elephant paradise, then heading to the Serengeti which is well known for the great wildlife migration. After the Serengeti the journey will be to one of the World Heritage Sites, the Ngorongoro Crater known as the multiple land use area, After the Ngorongoro Crater you will be heading to the Lake Manyara National park which is well known for its great baboon population and the Lion that climb trees and the rose feathered flamingos at the alkaline lake Manyara. Then that will be the end of the fantastic journey.
(Activities: Pick up &game driving) At 08:00Am, the driver guide will pick you up from the Hotel in Arusha and it is where you will start the journey to the Tarangire National Park. The journey will take around 2hrs which is the distance of 120 Kilometers to reach the Tarangire National park gate where the game drive starts. During the game drive you will explore the true enormity of the deserted termite mounds and ancient baobab trees. Moreover as it known as the Elephant paradise you will expect to see the big herds of elephants and other wild animals and birds such as Lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetah, mongoose, buffaloes and baboons. After the fantastic game drive in the Tarangire you will be driven back to Mto Wa Mbu near Lake Manyara for the overnight. (Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, All includes)
(Activities: Travel and Game drive) On this day, you will start the journey to the Serengeti National park from Mto Wa Mbu where you have your overnight. The journey will take around 3hrs and 30min which is an approximate distance of 205 kilometers. On the journey, you will pass by the Ngorongoro Conservation area, where you can have an en route game drive while heading to the Serengeti National park, which is the park well known due to its annual wildlife migration. On reaching the park you will enjoy the Lunch on one of the kopjes (rock outcropping).The game drive will venture further into the park and the overnight will be in the Serengeti national park. The day will begin with an early morning game drive in the central of Serengeti. The savannah is an active landscape and the air is flooded with the melodies the birds create as the regenerated sunlight starts to illuminate the full landscape. Your guide will study the prints on the ground to pursue predators. Moreover early in the morning you might be able to see the good view of the number of flying balloons. Thenwe will travel to the Ngorongoro crater rim for overnight. (Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, All includes)
(Activities: Crater and travel) A day will begin with the head off to the Ngorongoro Crater for the descending in and ascending out of the Crater. This is where the game viewing is simply effortless. Most animals remain within the crater due to its high walls. This is the perfect location with high probability to view every member of ‘The Big 5’ in one day. We will have a wonderful picnic lunch inside the crater. The unfilled caldera is also home to hyenas, hippo, zebra, wildebeest and an impressive variety of water birds. Your guide will enlighten you by sharing facts about the animals, vegetation and locating hidden animals. After such a wonderful journey you will head to Mto wa Mbu near to Lake Manyara for the Overnight. (Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, All includes)
(Activities: Game and travel) On this final day of the Safari program you will be nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara National Park provides picturesque, varying scenery. We will have a picnic lunch in the beautiful park. Assorted habitats including rainforests, the Soda Lake and the savannah support the highly diverse ecosystem. With over four hundred bird species, some of which are migratory, the reserve is a birdwatcher's delight. Lake Manyara houses the legendary tree climbing lions as well as buffalo, elephants, giraffe, impalas and hippos. We will proceed to Arusha in the late afternoon for overnight.
