This 5 Days tour combines gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with a wildlife safari in
Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest protected area, home to a wide range of
savannah wildlife such as lions, buffalos, elephants, hippos, giraffes, antelopes, crocodiles, and
more.

Transportation – 4×4 Safari Landcruiser / Minivan (up to eight passengers) with pop-up
tops and seven window seats for game viewing. Groups of twelve or more people who would like to travel in one vehicle are offered 25-28 seat coasters that have about 16
window seats. Our Safari vehicles are well maintained to provide maximum level of
comfort and safety.

On your arrival, Kubwa Five Safaris representative with your name printed on an A4 paper will welcome you to Uganda at Entebbe airport and transfer you to Sky hotel in Kampala located 10 Km from the city center towards Naalya Housing Estate, it has a capacity of 29 Rooms with twin beds taking up 58 guests, there is one restaurant, which is open from 7-10 am for breakfast. However, it is open for the rest of the day for meals. Depending on your arrival time, relax in your already-booked hotel after a long flight while you are dreaming of your safari tomorrow morning at 7:00 am and then driven across several districts to Murchison Falls National Park. A stopover will be made at Masindi where you will have lunch then proceed to the top of Murchison falls where the Nile forces its way through a gorge in the rocks and tumbles 43m below flowing westwards into Lake Albert. We will then check into Budongo Eco Lodge for an overnight stay. It is a comfortable lodge featuring eco cabins with private veranda, spacious dorm rooms, a visitors centre and restaurant located in Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda. The lodge has ensuite forest cabins and dormitory room with modern and comfortable facilities. The room has a double bed, mosquito net, free breakfast, and an ensuite bathroom. Terrace gardens are available with a serene view of the national park. Continental dishes are served with a variety of local and international dishes available for guests. Free breakfast is available. The lodge has a bar and lounge with a view of the park. The hotel offers laundry service, onsite parking, and security personnel.
Expect To See: Lions, buffalos, waterbucks, giraffes, baboons, hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, aquatic birds. After an early breakfast, set off for a morning game drive on the Northern Delta Nile. Lions, buffalos, waterbucks, Jackson’s hartebeest, Rothschild’s giraffe, oribi, and baboons are some of the animals to expect. Other activities in this game drive include bird watching and sightseeing across the open savannah, dotted woodland, and riverine vegetation along the Nile and Albert delta. You will then return to camp to rest and have lunch after which you will embark on a three-hour boat cruise on the Nile. This boat ride offers an amazing view of the falls from the bottom angle. Hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and aquatic birds can be seen along the shores of the river. Dinner and overnight stay at Budongo Eco Lodge
Expect To See: Gorilla, lake Albert, Kibale forest, lake Edward and Lake George. After breakfast, we transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home of the mountain gorilla. Enjoy the drive as you will spot Lake Albert, the Rwenzori ranges, Kibale forest, and the beautiful lakes Edward and George. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma lodge. It is situated within the Bwindi National Park, less than five minutes walk from the gorilla trekking start point. An elevated lounge area, complete with bar and dining facilities, offers a cozy, comfortable environment in which to discuss the day’s activities around the fireplace. Buhoma lodge has Eight, comfortable cottages each with its own private veranda, offering extensive views of the forest canopy of the National Park. Inside the spacious cottages have comfortable beds, a well-appointed en suite bathroom with a flushing toilet and a hot shower, some rooms have bathtubs. An elevated lounge area, complete with bar and dining facilities, offers a cozy, comfortable environment in which to discuss the day’s activities around the fireplace.
Expect To See: Gorillas After breakfast, prepare for the gorilla tracking adventure which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing at the information center by the Uganda Wildlife Authority staff. We will then be guided into the jungle to track the shy primates. Gorilla tracking may take 3 to 7 hours but it is well worth the effort. It’s advisable to bring along a rain jacket, and hiking boots. At the end of this long and exciting adventure, return to our lodge for a well-deserved shower, dinner, and rest. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma lodge.
Expect To See: Equator After breakfast transfer back to Kampala making a lunch stop en route at Mbarara. Proceed to make another stop at the equator in Masaka; see where this imaginary line divides our planet into two equal hemispheres. Snacks, souvenirs and photographs may be taken here. Arrive in Kampala later that evening and transferred to Entebbe for your departure flight.
