In this 4 Days tour, you track the critically endangered mountain gorillas in Mgahinga National
Park located in the Virunga Mountains. You will also get to encounter the ancient Batwa tribe
and learn their way of life.

superior hotels. If a hotel of equivalent standard is not available Kubwa Five Safaris may
substitute the next best quality hotel or suggest a superior at an extra charge. There is free
wi-fi in hotels.
Transportation – 4×4 Safari Landcruiser / Minivan (up to eight passengers) with pop-up
tops and seven window seats for game viewing. Groups of twelve or more people who
would like to travel in one vehicle are offered 25-28 seat coasters that have about 16 window seats.
Our Safari vehicles are well maintained to provide maximum level of comfort and safety.
Our Drivers /Guides – We recognize this for a fact! The success of your safari will largely depend on your driver/guide. It is because of this that we have a great team of carefully selected drivers /guides, well trained.
Expect To See: Mountain gorillas, golden monkeys, various bird species. On your arrival, Kubwa Five Safaris representative with your name printed on an A4 paper will welcome you to Uganda at Entebbe airport and transfer you to Sky hotel in Kampala located 10 Km from the city center towards Naalya Housing Estate, it has a capacity of 29 Rooms with twin beds taking up 58 guests, there is one restaurant, which is open from 7-10 am for breakfast. However, it is open for the rest of the day for meals. Depending on your arrival time, relax in your already-booked hotel after a long flight while you are dreaming of your safari tomorrow morning at 7:00 am. You will be driven south to Mgahinga National Park with enroute lunch in Mbarara. Mgahinga is part of the Virunga Mountains having 3 major peaks Muhabura, Gahinga and Sabinyo. The park is endowed with great photogenic scenes, various primate species like mountain gorillas and golden monkeys as well as over 115 bird species including Albertine species. Diner and Overnight stay at Mount Gahinga Rest Camp.
Expect To See: Gorillas After breakfast, we embark on tracking the gorillas, a 3 to 5 hour activity. Gorillas are normally present in Mgahinga from October – May and the rest of the year in Rwanda. Spend an hour with these critically endangered species as you learn a few things about them before returning back to camp. Overnight stay at Mount Gahinga Rest Camp. This camp is located on the boarder of Mgahinga national park next to the park headquarters, on the boarder of the 3 countries which are Uganda, Congo and Rwanda. This is the best place for people on the move especially those who are coming from gorilla tracking and need a place to rest from. The general services provided swimming in the fresh waters of Lake Mutanda. This rest camp is composed of nine grass-thatched bandas and 3 tents with private facilities, half of these cottages have their en-suite and private balconies which are facing towards Lake Mutanda.
Expect To See: Batwa people After breakfast, we embark on the Batwa trail. The Batwa trail allows you to experience the ways of the ancient Batwa people who have lived in these forests for 500,000 years. Enjoy their cultural dance and drama. Overnight stay at Mount Gahinga Rest Camp.
Expect To See: Equator Enjoy breakfast and drive back to Kampala with lunch en route in Mbarara. A brief stop at the equator allows time for photographs and souvenirs at the crafts market. Arrive in Kampala in the evening and transferred to Entebbe for your departure flight home.
