Venture through Okavango Delta with Shipungo Safari & Tours, to Chief’s Island
(70 kilometers long and 15 kilometers wide), which is named because it was once
the sole hunting preserve of the local chief. Raised above the water level by
tectonic activity, it is here that so much of the delta’s wildlife retreats as water
levels rise. As such, the island is home to what could be the richest concentration
of wildlife in Botswana.

Very Good
3 Days Motor Boat Safari In Okavango Delta

What an absolutely great tour experience from the start. the guide was on time to pick us up. He had to wait a couple of minutes for us, as we were running late. he made us very comfortable before we left the hotel for our excursion. Upon getting to the Delta, there was a team of people waiting for us, we were taken on the Delta with a Mokoro. what an experience. they are so professional and the guide Matthew was the best ever. we received lunch, water, cooldrink and snacks as part of the package. We got to see some really cool animals up close and personal, like elephants, buffalo's, hippo's, giraffe's etc. We can highly recommend Shipungo Safari Tours, as they are an excellent team. Review of: 1 Day Mokoro in Okavango Delta,Botswana

Myself and two other girls took a one day canoe tour through the Okavango Delta. It was so beautiful! They came and got us from the hostel, took us on the boat ride to the park, where we got a local tour guide of the delta. We saw many animals and our guides were very very knowledgeable of the Delta. It was such a great day. 100% must do if you are in Maun!
