This 4 Day Rwanda tour takes you to Parc National des Volcans (PNV) in the North of Rwanda
where about 300 mountain gorillas live. There are four habituated gorilla families – Amahoro,
" Group 13", Sabinyo and Susa – each of the groups allows up to 8 participants per day. You can
track gorillas, climb the Visoke volcano, track the golden monkeys or visit the Karisoke
Research Centre, which Dian Fossey the famous primatologist set up, or visit local villages. This
safari starts and ends in Kigali.

Transportation – 4×4 Safari Landcruiser / Minivan (up to eight passengers) with pop-up
tops and seven window seats for game viewing. Groups of twelve or more people who
would like to travel in one vehicle are offered 25-28 seat coasters that have about 16
window seats. Our Safari vehicles are well maintained to provide maximum level of
comfort and safety.

You are personally met by our driver/guide upon arrival at Kanombe (Kigali) airport and transferred to Hotel des Mille Collines for an overnight stay. (Full Board). Hotel des Mille Collines, Inaugurated in 1973 as the first grand hotel of the country and receiving globally a lot of attention since the Hollywood movie ’Hotel Rwanda’ in 2004 - Hôtel des Mille Collines is surely the most famous hotel in Rwanda. Enjoy the location in the central business district and the breathtaking views over the hills of Kigali. Indulge yourself in culinary experiences from casual to fine dining, from international cuisine to local signature dishes. See the city of Kigali go to sleep and awake while you are relaxing in your room or on your private balcony
After a relaxed breakfast, we drive two hours north to Kinigi via Ruhengeri. Enjoy the rolling hills for which Rwanda is famous. Visit Karisoke Research Centre which Dian Fossey, the famous primatologist, set up. Meals and overnight at Gorillas Nest Lodge, (Full Board). Gorillas Nest Lodge is lodge is situated at the foothill of the Virunga Volcanoes and it takes about 5minutes to access the park headquarters. The lodge has a standby generator where you can charge a few of your gadgets. The lodge is adjacent to the entrance of Parc National des Volcans located in the northern part of Rwanda. It’s surrounded by a grove of trees that offer a calm environment to the lodge. On a sunny day, you will get a beautiful view of the volcanoes. Its closeness to the National Park makes it an ideal place for gorillas trekking. Gorilla’s Nest Lodge is a simple stylish accommodation positioned north of Kinigi. Right from the lodge, you can easily access the headquarters Gorillas Nest Lodge is the best place to stay when in Rwanda of Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park. It’s the only place where all treks to see gorillas leave in the morning. The roof of the lodge is grass thatched to keep it African. They have a fully stocked bar with various drinks, delicious meals are well prepared by an expert chef both local and international cuisine.
We head to Parc National des Volcans to get set to trek gorillas. Gorilla tracking through the forest, hills, and swamps can be tough, arduous and tiring, sometimes taking up to 8 hours in the forest. But coming face to face with the great ancestors of man is well worth the effort. Meals and overnight at Gorillas Nest Lodge, (Full Board).
We drive back to Kigali and embark on a city tour visiting the Genocide memorial site and African art and craft markets. Transfer to the airport for your flight.
