Day 1: Kampala-Murchison Falls National Park
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel early in the morning before hitting the road for the most beautiful protected area in Uganda: Murchison Falls National Park. This park is located about 300 kilometres north of Kampala, passing through the famous Luwero triangle and has a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary and then has lunch at Kabalega dinners. We later proceed on entering the park through Kichombanyobo gate and visit the magnificent falls where you will enjoy and marvel at the mighty Nile, being forced into a seven meter crevice to thunder 45 meters below in a series of cascades that can be viewed at different points. Day 2: Game drive – Boat cruise
After an early morning breakfast, we drive down to the ferry and cross the Nile to the northern sector of the park and start our game drive towards the Delta area, in search for wildlife that includes; the Rothschild Giraffe, elephant, Jackson’s Hartbeast, Lions, Warthogs, Kobs, Jackals, Oribis, Waterbucks, Patus monkeys and Leopards among others. Here also a variety of Savannah woodland birds can be seen. We go back to the lodge, relax around, have lunch and later in the afternoon, at 02:00pm go for the boat cruise on the Nile, for game viewing at close quarters as they come to cool off on the shores of the mighty Nile. Here you get a chance of seeing many schools of Hippos, Crocodiles, Buffaloes, Elephants and a variety of water birds. We come back to the lodge after about 3 hours, for dinner and overnight at new court view Hotel
Day 3: To kibale National park
You will start your drive to western Uganda through the beautiful green scenery and the tea plantations. You will have a chance to interact with local people during the walk through the market after lunch. After lunch, you will have a one hour drive to Kibale forest where you will be able to spot some monkeys, birds and Baboons on your way and during the stop-over, Dinner and overnight at Kibale forest camp
Day 4; – chimpanzee trekking
Today you will have your breakfast at the lodge and prepare for your trip for Chimpanzee walk. Kibale forest National Park consists of around 13 primate species. While at the park, you will be able to see many types of monkeys like; the wonderful Red Columbus, Grey cheeked mangabey, Black and white Columbus monkey, L’hoest monkey and the amazing Chimpanzees. Here you will experience our cousins today for one hour and the trip takes 3-4 hours walk through the tropical rain forest with the experienced guide. After lunch you will visit Bigodi swamp for the walk to spot some monkeys and bird species and that takes you through grassland, small communities where the locals are very enthusiastic to shake hands with white people through coffee plantations and peoples gardens to see how they do daily work and then drive to Queen Elizabeth national park for Dinner and overnight at Buffalo Safari Lodge
Day 5 : Queen Elizabeth National Park
The day begins early as we go for our morning game drive, heading for Kasenyi plains, towards the Kobs mating grounds, in search for wildlife that may include the Bushbuck, Waterbuck, Elephants, Buffaloes, lions, Leopards and other wildlife in their natural habitat. The game drives normally take 3 -4 hrs before returning for breakfast. In the afternoon we take on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural link between Lake Edward and Lake George. The Channel accommodates abundant wildlife, hundreds of birds that are sighted fishing in the channel and hundreds of hippos that are cooling off at the shores, this cruise will definitely be one of the highlights of your safari. Day 6 :- Chimpanzee Tracking in Kyambura Gorge and Game Drive.
After an early breakfast you will start your chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura gorge also known as valley of Apes and you will be marveled by the verdant, rich Tropical Rain-forest right close to the Equator crossing. The gorge is another world on its own. while the Savannah above has a reasonable amount of light, plus sun shine that offers brightness, the tree canopy within this under-ground forest comprised of rich blocks of plant life shut out most of the sun rays and unless you are standing within a clearing you certainly will not require sunglasses or sun- hats since you may actually need to have a clearly view so as not to miss out on the great assortment of Wonders within the Kyambura Gorge, after this amazing experience you will have another game drive in Queen Elizabeth.
Day7;- To bwindi impenetrable national park through ishasha sector
The day begins early as we start the game drive at 6:30am in the Kasenyi plains in search for wildlife which includes the Buffalos, Kobs, Warthogs, Elephants, Waterbucks, Lions, Hyenas, and on lucky days leopards among others. After the game drive that takes about 2 – 3 hours, we go back to the lodge for breakfast, check out and drive to Bwindi through Ishasha sector where tree climbing lions can be seen according to the luck of the day. We have lunch en-route (packed) and later check in to the service of Buhoma community Rest Camp or Brodbil forest Lodge for dinner and overnight
Day8;- Gorilla tracking
After breakfast, at about 7:45am, we walk down to the visitors’ center for registration and briefing before starting the gorilla trekking. The exercise may be strenuous walking up steep hills sometimes under muddy conditions. This activity may take about 2 – 8 hours, experiencing the Gorilla World, and for conservation purposes when you get them, you spend one hour with them and the guide will advise you on how to behave while with these great apes. Day 9. Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After a relaxed breakfast, we check out and drive to Lake Bunyonyi, arriving in the afternoon and check-in to the service of Bunyonyi Overland Camp, have our lunch and relax a bit and later in the afternoon go for a boat cruise along the lake. In this boat ride we can visit some of the lakes’ Islands where we can see a lot of water birds and see some traditional dancers and pygmies. We later come back to the camp for dinner and overnight. Day 10. Transfer back to kampala or airport
After an African breakfast we check out as we drive back to kampala or airport with lunch en-route arriving later in the afternoon and check into our lace of accommodation for dinner and overnight or we go straight to the airport for your flight home depending on your flight program.
